Justin Hsu

Hi there! I'm Justin, a scientist turned multi-language developer. Along with possessing wet-lab skills in DNA sequencing and protein analysis, I have upskilled in four programming languages. I have programming skills in Python, Web Development Technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), C#, and R as well as skills in data science and machine learning frameworks, Linux, SQL, and ASP.NET Core applications. I am currently working as an Independent Developer, where I have done projects that range from computational biology, data science, and web development.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri, where I majored in Biochemistry with double minors in Math and Chemistry. I have also earned my Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. I began my journey as a developer in March 2023 and have since enjoyed what the computational path has to offer.

Beyond my Independent Developer journey — I am passionate about college football, college basketball, and the NFL. I also love working out and playing video games in my downtime.
